Well our chase 2011 plans are in the works! I will be departing for the plains on May 14th for approximately two weeks, this time with my good friend Tom Stefanac and my sister Rita. This May has been a weird one, but it looks to get real active starting around the middle to end of next week after the blocking pattern moves east. We may get some potentially slight risk days out in western Texas come Tuesday, so we will see! You can keep track of our whereabouts at Tom's page, my sister's blog, and my blog.

My May 19th chase page is finally online, complete with pictures. I have also added information for the 2011 Ontario storm spotter training dates near the bottom of this page.

I decided to revamp how I share my chase videos, so I pulled the downloadable .wmv files from my site and uploaded them to You Tube. I think it's about time I get into the You Tube scene, since downloading those .wmv files took a long time (and server space). You will find four videos, which include two new clips from the 2010 chase trip, on my videos page.
Yes, I still have to work on my 2010 chase logs, but it's coming along! I just have four more to write up, then I will need to go through my pics. In the meantime, I decided to put my May 18th chase log online.

So you're probably wondering where my photos and summaries from my 3-week long excursion to Tornado Alley are! Well they will finally be put online soon, and I do apologise for my lack of updates. I promise I will get them online before the 2011 storm season kicks into gear. Overall, the 2010 trip was indeed a great "chasecation" with many active storms, tornadoes, and sight-seeing to be had! In the meantime, here is a "Photo Highlight" that I took on my trip that you can enjoy.
